Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) hereby gives notice of its intention to commence the preparation of a new Local Plan for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.

This notice is published in accordance with the Council’s statutory duties under Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026.

The local plan will be referred to as the BCP Local Plan and will cover the administrative area of BCP Council.
