Call for Sites

As we move into the next stage of preparing a new Local Plan, we will be reopening our Call for Sites. The Call for Sites is an evidence‑gathering exercise that allows landowners, developers and site promoters to put forward land that may be available for development or redevelopment.

October 2025 update

Between 10 July and 29 August 2025, we ran a Call for Sites consultation to gather information on land availability across the area. We received 118 site submissions.

These sites are now available to view on our interactive map, which includes basic details such as site address, area, proposed use, and a unique ID number.

The publication of submitted sites does not imply any endorsement or approval by us. This stage is purely about collecting evidence to inform the Local Plan.

The sites are shown for notification purposes only. These have not been assessed by us and no decisions have been made on any of the sites at this stage. We will consult on the sites at a later stage when there is a greater degree of certainly on which sites may be allocated and those that are likely to be dismissed.

Some site submissions may have been made by promoters without the landowner's permission. We encourage landowners to contact us if they have any concerns or require further information.
