We are preparing a new Local Plan for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

The Local Plan will provide a strategy for growth over the next 15 years and included planning policies against which future development would have been assessed. It will be prepared under the government's proposals for a new plan making system.

Under the new plan-making system we are required to publish a notice of intention to commence Local Plan preparation. This notice provides communities and other stakeholders with advance notice of plan-making.
