To apply for your van permit, you will need:

• your V5 form
• a letter of authorisation if you are borrowing the van from your employer

If your van is leased and is the only vehicle in your household, please upload a copy of the lease agreement and proof of residency in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, for example, a Council Tax or utility bill.

By applying for a van permit, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the van permit scheme.

What happens after you apply for a van permit

You will receive an email when:

• your application is complete and submitted to us
• your van permit is ready for collection from your nominated recycling centre

If approved, your van permit will be ready within 10 working days from the date of your valid application.

When you collect your van permit, you will need to bring proof of your identity and residency.
