Challenge your parking fine ticket
If you have received a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and you want to challenge the fine, you will need:
- your 10 digit PCN number, found on the PCN
- your Contravention Code Number, found on the PCN
If you choose to pay your parking fine, you cannot also challenge it. Paying the PCN will end any existing challenges you have made.
If you challenge your PCN fine online, you can upload supporting evidence. Files must be less than 5 megabytes and must be in one of the following formats:
- jpg
- jpeg
You can also apply by post to Parking Administration, BCP Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth BH2 6DY.
Rejected challenges
If your challenge is rejected, you must pay the fine. If we do not receive payment in 28 days, we will contact the DVLA to obtain the name and address of the registered keeper and will issue a Notice to Owner (NtO) .
Freedom of Information (FOI) Requests
If your challenge also contains an FOI request you can submit your request separately to enquiries@bcpcouncil.gov.uk for a timely response.

If your PCN has been passed to one of our enforcement agents it is too late to challenge this notice. You will need to and you will need to contact them directly to discuss this matter with them.
