Permit cost
A monthly residents permit will cost £42.
Proof required
A resident's permit is tied to a single car registration number. You will need to provide:
- a copy of your vehicle registration document V5 or, for a company car, a letter from your employer confirming the registration number and address
- proof of residence such as a Council Tax bill, public utilities bill, bank statement, tenancy agreement or an official rent book showing the address where you live
A permit cannot be issued if you do not supply proof that the vehicle is registered to one of the addresses listed above, and proof that you are living at that address.
How to apply or renew
To apply, renew or pay a residents Avenue road MSCP permit, log in to our online permit system.
If this is the first time you've used the system, you'll be asked to create an account.
Once your account is set up, you can apply, upload evidence and pay for your permit or change your registration number.
When applying or renewing for permits, you will only be able to activate and extend them during office hours. These are:
- Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm
- Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
You will be unable to use your permit until is has been activated or extended.
