Spend the day on the pier in Boscombe or Bournemouth and enjoy our beach shops, cafés, takeaways, attractions and amusement arcade.

Boscombe Pier

Open 7 days a week 9am to 11pm (may be subject to change in adverse weather conditions).

Inside the Grade II listed building at the pier’s entrance, you’ll find a café, takeaway and a beach shop.

There’s no charge to go on Boscombe Pier, there’s also a viewing platform at the end of the pier. If you want to learn about the history of the pier, follow the heritage trail along the windbreak.

Fishing is allowed from the end of the pier.

  • is not valid during the Bournemouth Air Festival (as no fishing is allowed on the pier at this time)
  • allows you to fish on Boscombe Pier

Bournemouth Pier

Over half a million people visit Bournemouth Pier every year.

There’s an amusement arcade at the pier entrance with young children’s rides, multiplayer video games and coin-pushers. There are also several shops, cafés and restaurants nearby.

Charges apply from Easter until 31 October, and vary according to season. Free entry in winter months.
