Resources for Access to Food Partnership members

There are a number of resources available for partners in the Access to Food Partnership. For regular updates, please sign up to the Access to Food Partnership newsletter.

Fact sheets and posters

We have printable fact sheets, posters and signs to help promote your community food project, and to encourage your community to help out.

You can order posters and business cards from us if you are unable to print.

We also have cost of living support information in other languages.

Maps, locations and schedules

As well as the Access to Food Map app, there are other lists, maps and schedules that may be useful:

Start Cooking recipe book

Community food projects across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have worked together to create the Start Cooking recipe book. The book is designed to build skills and confidence in cooking.

Food hygiene, health and wellbeing training

The Partnership offers L2 Food Hygiene training online, alongside an Access to Food training video.

LiveWell Dorset and the Community Action Network also offer training.

Funding information

Sign up for our What Funds newsletter to hear about the latest funding opportunities for local residents and businesses.

The Access to Food Partnership also offers a Grassroots Kickstarter Pot to support local activities in our area. Apply with the Grassroots Kickstarter form.

The BCP Council and the Community Action Network funding portal can help you explore your funding options.

Research

Researchers from Bournemouth University and members of the Highcliffe Lunch Club in Christchurch met to discuss the positive effects of the club and the challenges older people face when accessing food. The Access to Food study gathered insights informally over lunch and during a workshop, revealing what mattered most to lunch club attendees when accessing food.
