You can pay your business rates by Direct Debit, online or by phone. A Business Improvement District (BID) can be paid online or by phone.
Pay by Direct Debit
Setting up a Direct Debit is the safest and most convenient way for you to pay your business rates and can be cancelled at any time by contacting your bank or building society.
You can choose from 1st, 15th or 25th of each month.
We are currently in the process of updating our online forms, in the meantime please contact us if you would like to set up a Direct Debit.
Pay online
Make a secure, debit or credit card payment online. You will need your business rates or Business Improvement District reference ready.
When using this payment method, it will show on your bank statement as: ‘Online payment BCP Council’.
Pay by phone
Make a secure, one-off debit or credit card payment on our 24-hour automated payment service. You will need your business rates reference or Business Improvement District reference ready.

Internet banking or standing order
Arrange for your bank or building society to make regular payments to us. You will need our bank sort code and account number for the area your business is in plus, your business rates reference (top right-hand corner of your bill).
