As standard, each property should have one:
- rubbish bin
- recycling bin
- 23 litre outdoor food waste container (Bournemouth and Christchurch)
- optional indoor 7 litre food kitchen caddy (Bournemouth and Christchurch)
- 240 litre garden waste bin (or multiple) if you opt into the chargeable service
If you do not have these bins, your bin is missing or it is badly damaged, please let us know.
If the bin is damaged during collection, we will replace it as soon as possible. Any damage due to wear and tear will require a replacement bin for which there is a charge.
Cost of a replacement bin
If the wheels on your recycling or rubbish bin are broken, we should be able to fix this free of charge. Any other damage will require a replacement.
There is a charge for replacement bins:
- £45 for a rubbish bin
- £55 for a recycling bin
If you need a new food waste container or kitchen caddy, we'll provide you with a replacement free of charge.
The replacement for the outside food waste container is a 23 litre food waste container and not the 12 litre insert.
