The 2025 service starts in the week of 27 January and the last collection will be on week ending 12 December 2025.
Make sure you always put your bin out by 5am on your collection day. We will empty your bin every 2 weeks on the same day. We often make collections in the evening and may continue until 11pm.
Your garden waste bin must display the service sticker for your bin to be emptied.
Getting your garden waste bin
It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your bin and sticker after you have applied.
If you want a bin to be with you in time for the beginning of the next year's service, make sure you register as soon as possible.
If you apply from December onwards, we may not be able to deliver the bin in time for the beginning of the service.
Garden waste bin size
The bins are 240 litres, with approximate dimensions of 10630 millimetres high, 720mm wide and 560mm deep.
Paying for multiple properties
If you would like to pay for multiple properties, for example, as a landlord or on behalf of other people as well as yourself, apply online and make sure you set up your account as a customer not a business. We are not able to invoice for the service.
Make sure you read the terms and conditions for the garden waste service before you sign up.
