There will be no collections on:

- Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December)
- New Year's Day (Wednesday 1 January)

Extra rubbish and recycling
We are unable to take extra bags of rubbish or recycling that are on top of or next to your bin. Please take any extra rubbish and recycling to one of our recycling centres:
Our recycling centres will have reduced opening hours over the festive period:
- Christmas Eve: closed from 1pm
- Christmas Day: closed
- Boxing Day: closed
- New Year’s Eve: closed from 1pm
- New Year's Day: closed
We are unable to collect Christmas trees with our rubbish or recycling collections, but there are multiple options to recycle your Christmas tree.
Commercial waste
Commercial waste collections will not be operating on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day. Catch up collections will take place on Saturday 28 December and Saturday 4 January.
The commercial weighbridge at Poole Recycling Centre will be closed from 24 December to 2 January and the weighbridge at Bournemouth Recycling Centre will be open until 12:30pm on 24 December and then closed until 2 January.
Skips and bulky waste collections will also not be operating during this time.
