To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effect of cancellation on reimbursement where car park permit has not come into effect during the 14 day cancellation period
If you have not requested that the car park permit comes into effect straightaway and you cancel this contract during the 14 day cancellation period, you will receive a full reimbursement of all payments received from you.
The council will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Effect of cancellation on reimbursement where car park permit has come into effect during the 14 day cancellation period
If you requested that the car park permit came into effect straightaway and you then cancel this contract during the 14 day cancellation period you will be required to pay a reasonable and proportionate amount for the supply of the car park permit based on the number of days you were able to use it before the council received notification of your decision to cancel. After deducting that amount the balance will be the sum you will be reimbursed.
The council will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
