Admission arrangements for BCP schools 2027 to 2028

We've created one single admissions policy for our community and voluntary controlled schools.

We are the admission authority for:

• Burton CE Primary School
• Mudeford Community Infants School
• Mudeford Junior School
• Somerford Primary School

The policy for these schools is the BCP Community and VC Schools Admissions Policy 2027 to 2028.

Burton CE Primary School is a faith school and families who are applying on faith grounds will need to complete and return a supplementary information form.

Admission arrangements – objections and publication of information

Following the determination of the admission arrangements, any objections to these arrangements must be referred to The Office of the Schools Adjudicator. Objections to admission arrangements must be submitted no later than 15 May in the determination year, in accordance with the School Admissions Regulations 2012.

The Coordinated Scheme 2027 to 2028

All schools in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have agreed to coordinate the main entry admission and transfer process for 2027 to 2028. The coordinated scheme explains how we process applications.
