What we do
The Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) and Community Safety Patrol Officer (CSAS) Teams are part of Communities within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. The ASB and CSAS teams work with others to prevent, tackle and investigate antisocial behaviour, harassment, prejudice and some crimes to improve the quality of life for local communities.
- they receive and investigate complaints of ASB, these can be from members of the public, businesses or partner organisations
- they work in partnership with other organisations that are responsible for dealing with ASB, such as Dorset police, housing providers and support services
- they work with victims and communities to understand the problems being experienced and to collate evidence of the issues
- where necessary proportionate enforcement action is taken, this is generally using tools and powers within the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
The purposes we use your information for
- to support and seek to protect victims of anti-social behaviour, harassment, prejudice and criminal behaviour
- to assess and investigate incidents of anti-social behaviour, harassment, prejudice and some crimes
- to deal with the alleged perpetrators of anti-social behaviour, harassment, prejudice and crime.
