Local Authority Building Control (LABC)

LABC is a not-for-profit membership organisation that represents all local authority building control teams in England and Wales. They serve members, homeowners, builders, developers, architects, agents and anyone else looking for building regulations advice. They have produced guides regarding the extension of your home. It also has several warranties available and if you use LABC you'll be able to use their other services too, such as:

• acoustic consultancy and testing
• energy and sustainability calculation
• fire risk assessments
• access audits

Partner Authority Scheme

If you partner with us we will check your applications, as long as the site is in England or Wales. Site inspections are carried out by the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) for that area.

Registered Details

With LABC Registered Details a product, system or house type is certified and approved for use by all local authorities. Building Control is represented by the Local Authority Building Control (LABC).
