If you are a resident in Poole and you have an unofficial carer as well as your own disabled blue badge, you can apply for a permit so that the carer can park their vehicle while providing care to you.
You can register more than one vehicle on your online account and then nominate which vehicle you need to park. Make sure you have activated the right vehicle on your account before you park.
The cost of a resident's carer permit is £66 per year.
How to apply
Use our online system to apply for this permit.
Documentary evidence
When you first apply for the permit in our online system, we will check Council Tax and Electoral Roll records to see if you are a resident. If you are not on these records, you will need to give us proof of where you live, such as your tenancy agreement and a bank statement from the last 3 months.
We will also need:
- the carer's vehicle registration document (pages 1 and 2)
- a copy of your valid disabled blue badge
- a doctor's letter that includes the carer's name and address
If you are unable to provide the required documentary evidence or are unsure about what to supply please contact the Parking Administration Section on 01202 123 911.
Please make sure you read the terms and conditions.
