How to apply or renew

Use our online system to apply for or renew your permit.

Documentary evidence

When you first apply for a permit on the system, we will check for a Council Tax or Electoral Roll records to confirm you live in the correct area. If you aren't on those records, you will need to give us a current tenancy agreement, or a bank statement from the last 3 months.

We will also need you to give proof that you own the vehicle you are registering, by submitting your registration document V5 pages 1 and 2.

If your vehicle is new or you have only just moved to the area, we will accept a schedule of insurance showing your name and address.

If you are registering a company vehicle, we need a letter from the company to confirm that you are the keeper of the vehicle.

If you are unable to provide the required documentary evidence or are unsure about what to supply please contact our Parking Administration Section on 01202 123 911.

Please make sure you read the terms and conditions.
