Poole residents can buy a beach season ticket at a reduced price. The season ticket allows you to park for as long as you want in the beach car parks as well as pay and display areas on the street.

You can register more than one vehicle on your online account and then nominate which vehicle you need to park. Make sure you have activated the right vehicle on your account before you park.

A residents beach season ticket is £140 per year. It's valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

What you need to apply

When you first apply using the online permit system, you will need to give us proof that you are a resident in Poole and proof that you own the vehicle you are registering.

Proof of residence

When you apply online, we will carry out a check on Council Tax and Electoral Roll records to see if you are a resident. If you are not named on these records, you will need to give us:

• a current tenancy agreement, or
• a bank statement that is less than 3 months old

Proof of vehicle ownership

You will need to provide us with your registration document V5, pages 1 and 2. The vehicle must be registered to the right property and applicant.

If the vehicle is new to you or you have just moved to the area, you will need to give us your schedule of vehicle insurance, showing your name and address.

If you want to use a company vehicle, you must give us a letter from the company confirming that the resident is the keeper of the vehicle, as well as the registration document or lease agreement.
