The daily waivers are aimed at tradespeople who need to park their vehicles in restricted areas while working.
You can only use the daily waiver for:
- the day it is applied for
- the registration number you give when you apply
- the location you give when you apply
The daily waiver is valid all day unless otherwise indicated.
The cost is £13 per day per vehicle.
Where to park
The daily waiver allows you to park on a single or double yellow lines, in resident bays, in limited waiting bays and on-street pay and display areas, as long as you park in the area you applied for.
Where not to park
The daily waiver does not allow you to park in disabled bays, taxi ranks or taxi bays, bus stops or bus lanes, loading bays, or yellow lines where there is also a loading ban in force. The waiver is not valid for council housing land.
How to apply
To apply, please call Parking Administration on 01202 123 911 and we will issue you a waiver over the phone and the civil enforcement officers will be made aware that a waiver has been issued for the vehicle in question.
Office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4:30pm on Fridays.
