There are two commuter zones within Poole. There is one in the Civic Centre area (Zone G/H) and one at County Gates (Zone K). Permits are available to anybody who needs to park on the roads shown on the maps.

The commuter permit allows you to park for an unlimited time within the indicated parking areas for the area you have requested, where the signs show a 2 hour limit that permit holders are exempt from.
On some roads, commuter permit holders can only use one side of the road as the other side is for resident permit holders only.
You can buy and manage your commuter permit online, as well as top up daily parking sessions. There is no physical permit. Civil enforcement officers will be able to see your active permit on their handheld devices. can be purchased and managed online by permit holders.
You can register more than one vehicle on your online account and then nominate which vehicle you need to park. Make sure you have activated the right vehicle on your account before you park.

Cost
The costs of the permit are:
- annually: £395
- quarterly: £112
- daily: £4 per day (minimum purchase of 5 day tickets for £20)
