We are aware of an unauthorised encampment consisting of a reported 9 units at Hawkwood Road.
Our staff are visiting site to carry out the statutory welfare and educational needs assessment, along with any necessary risk assessments in order to determine the level of support to be given to the group.
Dorset Police have been notified.
The required assessments have been carried out and the site is being visited daily by the Council and the Police are aware of the situation.
