With two weeks to go until the General Election, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council is encouraging all voters to take a moment to check their designated polling station for Election Day.

The General Election takes place on Thursday 4 July, with polling stations opening from 7am to 10pm.

A voter’s polling station is determined by their residential address and can vary from one election to the next. Being prepared and knowing where your polling station is prior to 4 July, will help ensure that you can cast your vote.

To find out which polling station you should attend, please visit BCP Council's Polling Station webpage.

Poll cards also contain the address of your polling station.

Graham Farrant, Acting Returning Officer and Chief Executive of BCP Council said:

“Because of the unplanned nature of this General Election date, we have not been able to secure all the usual Polling Stations, which means that some voters will find that their location for voting has changed.

“Please check the details on your Polling Card carefully ahead of time to make sure you go to the right place to vote.”
