Health and Life insurer Vitality will continue as the title sponsor and Official Wellness Partner of the Bournemouth Bay Run, after committing to a three-year sponsorship of the event.
Early bird registrations are now open for the races, which will take place on Sunday 23 March 2025. The event - which attracts thousands of runners of all ages and abilities - is organised by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council.
Set against the stunning back drop of Bournemouth’s seven-mile stretch of sandy beaches and the beautiful Poole Bay, the Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run offers something for every runner, whether you are in it for fun or competition, there’s a race for everyone.
Participants can choose from four exciting races: the Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and the ever-popular 1km Children’s Race, which promises fun and fitness for the younger runners.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to embrace the sense of community and camaraderie that defines the Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run, as well as supporting local charities such as Dorset Mind.
Cllr Richard Herrett, Portfolio Holder for Destination, Leisure and Commercial Operations, said: “The Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run is one of the highlights of the spring calendar and the atmosphere and community spirit on our beautiful seafront when the race is on is hard to beat.
