Our online music resources are available in all of our libraries. You can also use your library card to access them at home or on the move.

Naxos Music Library

The world´s largest online classical music library, Naxos allows you to stream and listen to music online. It currently offers over 2.5m tracks and includes the complete catalogues of:

  • Hungaroton
  • Marco Polo
  • Naxos
  • Ondine

Selected titles from other leading independent and major labels are also available, including:

Over 600 albums are added monthly and in many cases, the same music will be available in various different performances. In addition to classical music, there are other genres, including jazz and world music.

Oxford Music Online

Charting the diverse history and culture of music and musicians from around the world, Oxford Music Online has over 55,000 articles written by over 6,000 leading international experts. This resource includes Grove online, the Oxford Dictionary of Music and the Oxford Companion to Music.

Oxford Music Online includes detailed works on a vast range of composers, over 33,000 biographies and more than 500 Sibelius-enabled audio examples. Its learning resources and timelines also provide invaluable support for teachers and students.
