Fitness trails at parks and recreation grounds in the Poole and Christchurch area offer exercise options to aid a healthy lifestyle.
The equipment along the trails is available to use for free at any time.
Barrack Road Fitness Area
For adults and young people over 1.4m in height.
Fitness equipment
The fitness area has:
- pull-up bars
- push hands
- leg stretch
- sit up
- trinity cycle
- air walker
- dip station
- agility trail.

Baiter Park fitness station
The fitness station in Baiter Recreation Ground is just off the path by the public slipway. It’s part of a larger fitness trail which links with Poole Park and Whitecliff Recreation Ground.

Branksome Recreation Ground fitness trail
The fitness trail in Branksome Recreation Ground is a mile long, starting near the onsite car park. The trail follows the perimeter path until it ends by the children's play area.

Hamworthy Park fitness station
The fitness station in Hamworthy Park is next to the boat compound and the Harbour Challenge outdoor education centre.

Poole Park fitness trail
There are seven fitness stations around the lake at Poole Park. The trail is part of a larger fitness trail linking with Baiter Recreation Ground and Whitecliff Recreation Ground.

Sherborn Crescent fitness trail
The trail starts next to the children's play area, with the two other stations leading along the footpath towards Magna Academy.

There are two fitness stations next to Treasure Island play area.

Whitecliff fitness trail
There are two fitness stations in Whitecliff Recreation Ground. One is next to the main car park and the other is opposite the children's play area on the promenade.
It’s part of a larger fitness trail which links with Poole Park and Baiter Recreation Ground.
