The Mudeford Beach House Café is a popular amenity for local people, visitors and those staying in beach huts.

The original building was extensively fire damaged in 2018 and proposals have been drawn up to replace the current temporary facilities with a modern low-rise design. This is a £1 million scheme, funded by insurance and topped up by affordable borrowing.

The new café will be accessible and incorporate sustainable elements into the design, while providing much-needed facilities which fit sympathetically into this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
