On Thursday 31 October 2019, voters in the Boscombe and Pokesdown neighbourhood area made their views known in a referendum.

The ballot paper asked "Do you want BCP Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Boscombe & Pokesdown to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?".

In the Boscombe and Pokesdown neighbourhood area there were:

  • 2156 ballot papers
  • 15696 electorate
  • 10 rejected ballot papers
  • a turnout of 13.74%
