Every young person needs someone to help them as they grow up. As a mentor, you can be that special person, offering support, advice, and care during this important time in their lives.

How you can help

As a mentor, you can help a young person in many ways:

Who we're looking for

We need people from all walks of life. The key qualities we’re looking for are:

  • Compassion: you should care deeply about making a positive impact
  • Good listening skills: you should be able to offer non-judgmental support
  • Commitment: you should be ready to spend regular time with your mentee for at least 12 months
