The Deprivation Supplement is used to enhance the hourly rate and will be paid where:
- 3 and 4 year olds: a child was formerly in receipt of the early learning for 2-year-olds entitlement or is currently eligible for EYPP
- 2 year olds: a child is eligible for early learning for 2-year-olds or is eligible for EYPP
- 9 months to 2 years old: a child is eligible for EYPP
