Towns Fund is a scheme launched by the Government for towns to improve their economy. We secured almost £22million as part of the ‘Town Deal’ to turbo charge ambitious regeneration plans for Boscombe, creating opportunities for our residents and businesses alike.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to breathe new life into the town. Creating a Better Boscombe, whilst protecting its unique heritage and character.

The town has many strengths which we will build upon. From its growing digital sector, its cultural heritage which contains some stunning examples of Victorian and Art Deco architecture, including the Royal Arcade, and its enviable position on an award winning coastline.

This work is being facilitated by the council, with overall direction provided by the Strategic Towns Fund Board, a cross section of private and public sector partners as well as community representatives who are keen to see Boscombe grow and thrive.

This is regeneration led by the community, for the community and the next steps in the project are influenced by what you tell us is important.

Our Projects

This funding boost to the town will allow our Board to progress with ten major projects. This will make a positive difference to all our residents with the creation of an exciting new neighbourhood, new jobs and a vibrant high street in our diverse, unique and historical area.
