Working with our communities and partners, we have introduced a range of valuable initiatives which are improving safety across the area.
We want to make Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole as desirable places to live, work, and relax, while also providing an environment where businesses can prosper.
Bournemouth Town team
The Town Team campaign will promote our ongoing joint work with Dorset Police and other partners to help deal with and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Transport safety pilot
We have been awarded funding from the Department for Transport to help our ongoing commitment to improve safety on our public transport networks and address anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Community Safety Partnership
Our Community Safety Partnership Strategy will help to tackle serious violent crime and create a strategy to reduce the number of incidents.
Public Spaces Protection Orders
We have proposed a consistent enforcement approach to improve public safety in communities across our area by tackling alcohol related anti-social behaviour.
