Funding for business decarbonisation

Our UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) has allocated funding to help local businesses reduce their carbon impact and make the necessary changes to implement their decarbonisation plans.

Businesses can gain free access to Climate Essentials, a carbon management platform, as well as match-funded grants of between £500 and £5,000 to use for decarbonisation projects.

Applicants will need to provide a copy of their decarbonisation plan, along with details of the project they require funding for.

This grant scheme is operating separately to the other match-funded grants available from our UKSPF and is available to all local businesses based in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This includes any organisation that has already received a start-up, growth, R&D or exporting grant from us.

The final round of applications for a decarbonisation grant closed on 3 October 2024.
