Poole Crematorium
Poole Crematorium (Halo Cemetery Hall) is located at Gravel Hill, Broadstone, Bournemouth, Poole BH17 9BQ.
Scatterings
Witnessed scatterings are suspended until the site re-opens in early September, due to the restricted access to the grounds. We apologise to families for this disappointment.
Books of Remembrance
Books of remembrance are on display in the private viewing room adjacent to the office location every day of the year from 9am to 4:30pm, including public and bank holidays.
Grounds
You are welcome to continue to visit the grounds. The Woodland Glades, lawn areas and lower gardens remain open.
Currently there is only one access point to the grounds which involves an uneven and steep pathway from the Autumn Glade. This access is a longer walking distance to reach the lawn areas and lower gardens. Visitors with mobility challenges should take care when accessing this area.
Improvement works
We have made significant improvements to the:
- waiting room
- reception room
- ceremony room
- cloisters
- car park lighting
- Books of Remembrance room
- office areas
The cloisters refurbishment include a wildlife-inspired mural by a local artist to bring the ‘outside, inside'. The former Books of Remembrance viewing conservatory is now a reflection room, where floral tributes can also be left. We have introduced a new outside floral wreath court and a covered outside waiting area.
