If your property is not suitable for wheelie bins, you will be provided with authorised:
- blue bags for your rubbish
- purple bags for your recycling
Residents in Christchurch can still use their recycling box until 1 November.

Cost of rubbish and recycling bags
There is a charge of £12.50 for 52 bags.
If you're in receipt of certain income-based benefits you may be able to receive bags free of charge. You may be eligible if you receive:
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Pension Credit - Guarantee Credit
- Universal Credit
- Housing Benefit
- Council Tax Support
You must provide evidence of any income-based benefits when asked to avoid any delay in your request.
