Depending on your circumstances, you will have one of the following:
- standard: 240 litre wheelie bin
- bags: 2 authorised sacks per fortnight if you use our bag alternative service
Using your recycling bin
Please make sure you put your bin out by 5am on your collection day.
The lid must be closed and placed at the edge of your property, where the waste collection team can see it from the road and collect it easily.
Please put items in loose, do not bag them.
If your bin is too heavy to be wheeled to the back of our collection vehicle, we will not be able to empty it.
Recycling household batteries
You can recycle household batteries at the kerbside with your other recycling. Place them in a carrier bag and leave them next to or on the lid of your recycling bin. Do not put batteries inside your recycling bin.
