We provide help and advice for you or your family if you are at risk of significant harm, either to your health or to your safety, or if you are experiencing exceptional pressure.
This scheme has no cash payment facility.
Check if you're eligible
To qualify for support or advice from the BCP Crisis Advice scheme, you must:
- be 16 years or over
- be a resident in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area
- have tried to get help elsewhere but not been able to resolve your issue, for example other organisations or friends and family

Other support
You may also be able to get support from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP):
- apply for a DWP Hardship Payment if your benefit (Universal Credit/Employment Support Allowance/Job Seekers Allowance) has been sanctioned
- apply for a short-term advance from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) if you have made an application for a benefit and are waiting for your first payment
