In Christchurch, cycling is not possible in all areas as the promenade can be very narrow.

24 accessible parking spaces at Mudeford Quay Car Park and 6 spaces at Avon Beach Car Park. Step free, level access from both car parks. Accessible toilets with RADAR key access at Avon Beach (next to the Noisy Lobster cafe) and Mudeford Quay (behind Haven House Inn).
Dogs
Dogs welcome all year, off lead. Dogs should be on a lead on the promenade at all times.
Barbecues
Barbecues (BBQs) are not allowed.
Open fires
Open fires are not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to light an open fire.
Camping
Camping is not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to camp anywhere along the seafront.
