Flaghead Chine beach

Flaghead Chine is a wide, sandy beach, sloping gently to the sea and is perfect if you want to get away from the crowds. Although there are fewer facilities, there’s something unspoilt about Flaghead Chine that makes it extra special.

The nearest train stations to Flaghead Chine are Parkstone (2.6 miles), Poole (2.9 miles) and Branksome (3 miles).

Cycling is allowed, but pedestrians have priority. Keep your speed below 10mph and follow seasonal restrictions in place for July and August on seafront promenades and paths to avoid fines.

From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on Flaghead Chine beach and must be kept on a lead on the promenade, paths and zig zags at all times.
