Risk management policy

Our Risk management policy ensures consistency in the measurement, mitigation, prioritisation, monitoring, follow-up and reporting of risk.

The policy forms part of the council’s corporate governance arrangements and:

• explains the council’s underlying approach to risk management
• outlines key aspects of the risk management process
• identifies the main reporting procedures
• documents the roles and responsibilities of the key parties involved in the process
