You can ask anyone on the library team for help with our computers, or to access the wifi.
We also run sessions with our Tech Buddies - volunteers who can help people use computers, tablets or smart phones.

Drop in Tech Buddies sessions
Some of our libraries have regular Tech Buddies sessions that you can turn up to on the day - there's no need to book:
- Boscombe Library: Thursdays from 9:30am to 11am
- Branksome Library: Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm and every other Saturday from 10am to midday
- Canford Cliffs Library: Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm
- Creekmoor Library: Alternate Mondays from 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm (from Monday 13 January 2025)
- Kinson Library: Mondays and Tuesdays, 2pm to 3pm
- Oakdale Library: Alternate Tuesdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm (from Tuesday 7 January 2025)
Book a Tech Buddies session
Some of our Tech Buddies sessions are only available if you book ahead of time, by calling the library or visiting in person:
- Broadstone Library: Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm
- Castlepoint Library: Mondays from 3pm to 4pm
- Charminster Library: Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm
- Christchurch Library: Thursdays at 10am, 11am, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, or Fridays at 10am and 11am
- Highcliffe Library: first and second Tuesday each month from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
- Pokesdown & Southbourne Library: Tuesdays at 2pm and 3pm, or Fridays at 10am and 11am
- Poole Library: Tuesdays from 9:30am to midday, or Thursdays from 10am to midday
- Springbourne Library: Saturdays from 10am to 10:45am and from 11am to 11:45am
- Tuckton Library: Thursdays at 10am and 11am (Tuesdays from January)
- Westbourne Library: Fridays from 10am to midday
Skills and Learning run digital hubs – free ICT skill drop in sessions
Local adult education provider Skills and Learning run digital hubs from:
- Bournemouth Library on Thursdays 1:30pm to 4pm
- Boscombe Library on Wednesdays 10am to 12:30pm
