Hengistbury Head Land Train
A picturesque circular route between Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Spit.
The Hengistbury Head land train:
- runs every day (subject to change and weather) during high season (Easter to October)
- does not run through the winter season
- does not allow under 16 year old's without being accompanied by an adult

Tickets are available from the train guards.

Ticket prices are for a one-way trip. You can pay by card only on the train.

Running times
The train usually runs daily, between Easter and October:
- 10am and 4pm
- 10am and 5pm during school summer holidays.
Please note no trains run between 1pm and 1:30pm. During poor weather or extremely low demand may mean we suspend the service for that day.

Location
The train service runs between the main car park at Hengistbury Head (BH6 4EN) and Mudeford Spit.
Stations
You can only board the train at the main terminus by the Hiker Cafe or at the Mudeford Spit terminus.
Accessibility
One carriage on the train has access for wheelchairs.
Land Rover
This service is for beach hut and Black House users to transport their luggage or equipment. The cost of a Land Rover ticket is £30.
Booking is required at least 48 hours in advance, ideally 72 hours.
