Report an issue with a tree

In the event of an emergency

If the tree is in a dangerous condition and is a threat to life or property, call us on 01202 123 432 or 0800 506 050 out of hours.

Let us know about an issue with a tree on public (council owned) land, such as:

  • dead or dangerous trees such as a tree or branch down, deadwood, dead tree, leaning tree or root lifting
  • tree obscuring traffic lights, streetlights or signs
  • vandalism to a tree (pulled out or burnt)
  • fungi growth around the base or trunk of a tree
  • tree in the front or back garden or communal area of a BCP Homes property

How to report

If a tree has or is causing damage, you cannot use this form to make an insurance claim against us.

When reporting, you can upload photos as this helps us with your request.

Report issue on railway lines or electricity cables

To report issue with trees or branches impacting railway lines, contact Network Rail.

If trees or branches are impacting electricity cables, contact OVO.
