Fine, golden sand, a gently sloping beach and clean, safe water make Shore Road an ideal place to visit. This Blue Flag beach is also known for wind and kite surfing.

Cycling
Cycling is allowed, but pedestrians have priority. Keep your speed below 10mph and follow seasonal restrictions in place for July and August on seafront promenades and paths to avoid fines.
Accessibility
You can reach Shore Road beach by ramp.
Dogs
From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on Shore Road beach and must be kept on a lead on the promenade, paths and zig zags at all times.
Find the nearest year-round dog friendly beach and remember to pick up after your dog.
Barbecues
You can have a disposable barbecue between 6pm and 10:30pm.

Open fires
Open fires are not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to light an open fire.
Camping
Camping is not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to camp anywhere along the seafront.
